sketch

There is no doubt about it, sketch certainly has the kind of je ne sais quoi necessary to distinguish itself from pedestrian afternoon teas. The deliciously tactile pink and gold interior of The Gallery contrives a sense of having taken up residence inside a giant clam shell, for instance.

There is the requisite degree of delicacy and finesse in both the taste and presentation of each tasty morsel, which, in our case, was beautifully complimented by the exquisite Billecart-Salmon Rosé (expertly recommended by the passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier)...

... And if you find your company in any way lacking (mine certainly wasn't!), you can while away the afternoon pondering the curious works of David Shrigley, which adorn the walls and the crockery.

We happened to be celebrating that day; the staff took great pleasure in making our visit special with an unexpected touch.

Make a wish!
sketch really is well worth a visit if you are looking for a decadent afternoon tea that is fun, foodie and fabulous!
